I am very motivated, always energetic, hardworking, and looking for challenges that will improve my development in life. I played 4 years of soccer, this required me to be very organized and accountable for all my responsibilities. I enjoy getting involved in extracurricular activities and put in that extra effort to fit everything in my schedule.

B.S. in Chemical Engineering • May 2015
As an engineering major at the Washington University School of Engineering I have developed the ability to be a critical thinker. Whenever I face a problem, I am able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each alternative solution, considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
WUSTL is one of the top 15 universities in the US where I have learned from the best professors. Therefore my mission is to utilize this knowledge to make an impact in my career and in the world.
B.A. Degree in Chemistry • May 2013By studying Chemistry I learned the importance of developing research and innovation to create a valuable product. The opportunity of studying in a Liberal Arts University, opened my eyes and interests into other humanity fields and taught me the importance of having a diversity in organizations.
Regional Leader St. Louis • March 2014 - Present
I organized events to stregthen links between Mexico and high qualified people living
in the US to encourage relationships between professionals and talented people from both countries.
My personal life quote is “Intercultural skills are entrepreneurial skills” Understanding other cultures is one of my best qualities.
PRESIDENT • May 2012 - May 2013
I organized and developed events, fundraisers and trips to share all of the different cultures present on campus and in the USA. In addition, I led our board of directors to create Welcome Programs to help introduce new international students to the American culture.
PRESIDENT • May 2012 - May 2013
I organized and developed cultural events and community service programs to share the Hispanic culture in campus.
Team Captain• Aug 2010 - May 2014
Being the team’s captain placed me in stressful positions where I had to face several challenges as a leader. I learned that leading by example is the most effective leadership and that it is about inspiring others to become leaders as well. After playing for both WUSTL and Hiram College teams, I learned to be very organized and accountable for all my responsibilities.
Project Leader • May 2014 - Ago 2014
I developed a protocol to improve the performance of PVC formulations in extrusion process. This plan consisted of the optimization and standardization of PVC tube formulations for all chemical plants in Mexico. This protocol reduced scrap by 20% on sewer pipe formula to yield possible savings for 1Million pesos per year.
I did estimations of profit from PVC tube production to analyze the impact in cost reduction that my project would have. I created strong connections with suppliers to improve formulas and reduce costs.
Chemical Engineer Intern • Jun 2011 - Aug 2011
In this internship I investigated and evaluated the industrial plant production process for cosmetics and personal care products. I had to acquire the skills to sample separate and identify compounds present in the products. Finally, I was able to propose and test new products that were innovative to the company.
Research Intern • May 2012 - Aug 2012
I participated in the Bioengineering Research Lab where I helped develop a project to obtain ethanol and bio-plastics out of aliment waste created by a food plant. Then, I assisted with data collection and analysis of results to improve the performance of the process.
After doing research, understanding the results and making changes to the process, I was able to increase the efficiency of the enzymatic hydrolysis by 15%.
Here are some of the skills I have accquired through my carreer:
“I think it’s very important to have a feedback loop, where you’re constantly thinking about what you’ve done and how you could be doing it better. I think that’s the single best piece of advice: constantly think about how you could be doing things better and questioning yourself.”Elon Musk
“After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb.”Nelson Mandela
“Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.”Nelson Mandela
